Canteen

Biyambala is our school canteen. Bowraville Central School funds our canteen to ensure no student goes to class hungry.

Biyambala also runs a ‘Breakfast Club’ each morning for all students who would like it. We have a pleasant area for students to sit to eat their breakfast. They are then required to wash up their own bowls and plates. This has been introduced to cut down on using single use items  and to teach students to be responsible.

To keep Biyambala sustainable, we would like to remind parents and carers that the canteen is set up to supplement not to replace students bringing their own lunch. However, remind your child to reach out if they need extra support.

Canteen opening times

Breakfast Club - Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 9:00 am

Lunch 1 - Monday to Friday 11:30 am - 12:05 pm

In addition to Biyambala providing emergency sandwiches each day we also provide a hot meal on Wednesdays and Fridays to purchase. The menu varies each week with a small serve costing $5 and large $7.  This needs to be ordered on Mondays. Please see Facebookfor the current week’s menu.

Payment can be made at the canteen using cash or Eftpos.

Please note: the canteen is not open at Lunch 2.
